Catawba West Harbor Yacht Club is located on Catawba Island in Ottawa County, Ohio. CWHYC is a member of the Inter-Lake Yachting Association (I-LYA), the Associated Yacht Clubs (AYC), and the Greater Cleveland Boating Association (GCBA). Founded in April 1964, our Constitution defines our purpose and objectives as follows;
“The object of this yacht club shall be to organize and promote social activities for the club members, to encourage and assist toward the highest level of boating courtesy and safety, to assist in inspiring boating facilities, both at our basin and elsewhere, and to encourage others to take up the pleasure of boating.”
